Education & Training

The majority of Congolese refugees come from very remote mining areas where rebels groups were fighting over the control of minerals. In most cases there were no schools in these areas or their parents were unable to send their children to school. This makes the majority of resettled refugees to be illiterates.

The Congolese Family Support Organization – CFSO wants to link "proper orientation" with a continued education and training to help them stay away from trouble in the country, focus on rebuilding their life, care for their families and become responsible members of the community.
